Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 Patiala Cantt., ounded in Dec. 1987, initially functioned in a small building at New Lal Bagh. It was shifted at the Mandir Marg in Army Barracks in August, 1993 and Shifted to The Permanent K.V.S. Building In August 2003 At Tarapore Enclave.

At present it is being run at Tarapore Enclave (new building) as it shifted in August 2003. The Vidyalaya is 8 k.m. away from the bus stand. Three wheelers are frequently available to reach the school.

This vidyalaya caters to the needs of about 850 students under the care of a dedicated team of 45 teachers and supporting administrative staff.
